The first of a trilogy of Flann O Brien adaptations 

 

Designing this show required a language and link to the books theory that 'everyone in the village had, to some degree, bicycle DNA.'

 

I spent a week recording all sorts of bikes and edited, looped, reversed and generally had fun with it. Turned out to be more sinister than I had expected and freed up the actors movement.
